On day two we took a drive from Silver City toward Hillsboro that cuts thru the southern side of the Gila National Forest. The drive was very up and down and many S-Turns. I would not want to take this route with my RV. On the way we found several geocaches. Stopped in Kingston for a picnic lunch.
Stopped at a campsite along the Gallinas river for a break. Nice location.
We than drove over the City of Rocks State Park. Very nice location but not sure want you would do around here for multiple day stay.
We stopped at an overlook and after we parked we noticed that the vehicles parked were the last three models that we have owned. Four Runner - Dodge Ram 150 and our current Dodge Ram 250.
Tomorrow we head up to the Cat Walk and Saturay we check out the Gila Cliff Dwellings.
